I know this movie from Agastiazirtaf,he's a blogger. Terus kalau gasalah dia ke Singapore buat nonton film ini doang karena kalau di Indonesia ga ada adegan apa yang dia ingin nonton. Tapi tadi Nadi check ke blog nya ga nemu tentang cerita ini. Jadi agak bingung, tapi tau film ini ya dari dia. Udah nyari lama dan baru sempet nonton.
Jadi film ini menceritakan Jesse (Ethan Hawke) yang ketemu Celine (Julie Deply) di kereta lalu jengjeng (nonton filmnya) ceritanya sih drama banget, omong terus, menceritakan tentang cinta, perjalanan, hidup. Kalau papah disuruh nonton ginian sih film baru mulai udah byebye. Nadi juga agak kaya "rrrr ini serius mau ngobrol terus-terusan?" tapi the conversation make you stay. Banyak quotes bagus, nih beberapa :
1. "And i'm so scared of those few seconds of consciouness before you're gonna die, when you know for sure you're gonna die." - Celine
Dan bener banget, satu hal yang Nadi takutin tuh ya ga dapet ridho Allah, unhappy, tua lalu sendirian, dan yang pasti kematian. Apalagi those few second when you know for sure you're gonna die.
2. "Love is a compex issue." - Jesse
Damn right J.
3. "My parents are just two people who didnt like each other very much who decided to get married and have a kid. And they tried their best to be nice for me." - Jesse
I cursed everyone that decided to get married just because the woman is pregnant. What people called it? MBA (Married By Accident) Helloooooo, it's not accident. It's something stupid that you have done. Well in my religion you cannot have sex untill you're married which means dont have a baby if you're not ready. Dont fall in love when you're not ready. And i hate it, i really hate it when two people have sex and they dont use condom or whatever and they have a baby and they call it "ACCIDENT".
4. "I always saw the world as this place where i really wasnt meant to be." - Jesse
Oh Jesse, me too.
5. "People can live their life as a lie." - Celine
6. "Everything we know is stardust." - That palm reader lady
It hits me. Teori awal mula dunia, big bang and something. hell yea, everything we know is stardust.
7. "I can't help but feeling for those people that come here lost or in pain, guilt, looking for some kind of answers. It fascinates me how a single place can join so much pain and happiness of many generations." - Celine talked about church.
8. "Well, I'm kind of see love as this escape for two people who dont know how to be alone." - Jesse
Sometimes i think in this way too. Being alone is not so bad, but for sure we need love for life
9. "U know what's the worst thing about somebody breaking up with u? It's when u remember how little u thought about the people u broke up with and u realised that is how they're thinking about u." - Jesse

The first thing i love about this movie is the place. It's Vienna in 1995!!! Setelah liat Vienna di 99cahayadilangiteropa kemarin terus nonton ini terus emang udah ngebet lama makin pengen banget kesana arrrrrrr. Lalu Nadi suka adegan di booth dengerin lagu, Nadi suka liat new couples yang masih awkward yang cintanya masih anget hahaha dan Nadi suka ngeliat mereka berdua dalam sebuah perjalanan. Life is about a journey right?
